SIAE UK has recently completed a £500K investment into the next generation of design and planning tools and the supporting IT Infrastructure . 
The opportunity has been taken to refresh both the server and client computing environment, as well as to increase our external telecomms communication facilities.Background
SIAE UK, the Wireless Service provider trading since 1997, was acquired in 2004 by SIAE MICROELETTRONICA S.P.A., the global microwave equipment manufacturer based in Milan Italy. As a result, various integration and investment activities were initiated in order to bring a number of very positive advantages to the UK based Services company.
Some of these benefits are itemised below:-
- New Premises - SIAE UK is now based in airy, modernised converted offices at rural Hale
- IT Investments - SIAE UK now has access to the latest design tools and equipment, as well as construction of a new NOC
- ISO accreditation - the UK services company is achieving incremental progress to ISO 9000 accreditation
- Growth in staff levels - commensurate with the rapid growth being achieved in the business, staff levels are increasing
Calendar year 2005 was the first full trading year under SIAE management, and business revenues have seen double-digit growth every year since. The current year is seeing further significant growth as a result of the strong combination of a strong microwave wireless product range from SIAE MICROELETTRONICA S.P.A., global procurement agreements to access the best complementary products from other manufacturers, combined with the ability from SIAE UK to bring an appropriate range of customer services to the products.
This integration of two strong companies and two complementary approaches to the market is enabling a focus on the customer and on customer requirements and needs.
